Founder Sarah Müllertz wanted to create a space that doubles as both a showroom and a studio, bringing together her two greatest passions – jewellery and great design. A former architect and later Partner and Global Head of Design at the internationally renowned Henning Larsen Architects, Müllertz started Kinraden to fuse her passions and create unique, sustainable pieces that last a lifetime. 

“Danish design is a big part of my architectural identity. When designing jewellery, I still work with a mindset of an architect - just on a smaller scale,” says Müllertz. 

Located in an old building in Copenhagen, the showroom is calm and welcoming. The space itself is quite simple – the walls are white, and her inspiration is on display on large pin boards. Embellishments are kept to a minimum, letting the jewellery take the stage. 

“As a jewellery designer, it’s important to have a space where you can focus on
the design process and be inspired every day. It’s not about fashion, but rather relevance and long-lasting quality,” she adds.

Müllertz chose Fritz Hansen pieces for their timeless appeal and unrivalled functionality paired with carefully selected art pieces by contemporary artists.

The PK54™ dining table was selected for the space, representing an exploration of contrasting materials and forms – circle meets square, marble meets mineral. Featuring a rare Italian marble and a satin-polished steel frame, the table’s delicate unevenness makes it the natural focal point in any room. 

The Grand Prix™ chair sits alongside the PK54 – a statement piece in wood. The celebrated chair comes in both a steel or wood base and can be personalised through a series of colours, wood types and upholstery.
